02/08/2018 · Not 100% sure, but - I believe if you use, for example, Adobe Acrobat to create the PDF, and then embed it - if the user only has Acrobat Reader (not Acrobat full) they will not be able to open it. Test by doing a "save-as-PDF" with a Word document, then embed that and see how it goes.
